Ekiden is a traditional Japanese long-distance relay race where teams of runners work together to complete a marathon distance. Each team member runs a designated leg of the race, passing a sash (tasuki) to the next runner. It's a celebration of teamwork, endurance, and community spirit.
Each participant receives an official True North Ekiden T-shirt, race bib, finisher medal, and access to post-race treats. Each team also receives one tasuki sash with a timing chip to pass between runners.
